Accra?, GNA – Ghana Navy boats arrested a number of canoes engaged in illegal fishing along the coastline between December 26 and 30, according to a statement issued in Accra on Friday by the Ghana Armed Forces. The statement signed by Lieutenant Commander M.A. Larbi for the Director of Public Relations said 18 canoes, which were using generator sets and light bulbs while fishing contrary to the laws of the country, were arrested.
