Honourable Minister Adegboyega Oyetola of the Federal Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy, Federal Republic of Nigeria, assumed office as the new President of the FCWC during the 16th Conference of Ministers held in Lagos, Nigeria, from 11 to 13 November 2025.

 

He succeeds Honourable J. Cyrus Saygbe Sr., Acting Director General of the National Fisheries and Aquaculture Authority (NaFAA) of the Republic of Liberia.
