In the framework of the Project " Regional Partnership for Concerted Management of Small Pelagics in the West-Central Gulf of Guinea", the Secretariat General of the Fisheries Committee for the West-Central Gulf of Guinea (FCWC) is launching a Call for Applications for the recruitment of an International Consultant to conduct a study on the regional situation of small pelagic fisheries in the FCWC area under the following conditions: 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Be a national of FCWC member state;    
  • Hold a higher education degree (at least Masters) in marine biology or fisheries science;
  • Demonstrate a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in fisheries management, research and small pelagic in particular;
  • Have at least three (03) successful experiences in the elaborating of strategic documents related to the marine and coastal environment;
  • Have in-depth knowledge of marine fisheries in the FCWC area;               
  • Fluency in French and English.
