6. Contract description
The Fisheries Committee for the West Central Gulf of Guinea (FCWC) intends to award a supply contract of equipment for a Regional Fisheries Monitoring, Control and Surveillance Centre (RC MCS) at FCWC Headquarters in Tema, Ghana, incorporating the pooled data of the FCWC Member States (Benin, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Liberia, Nigeria and Togo), Third Countries and other parties, from their Vessel Monitoring Systems (VMS), Automatic Identification Services (AIS) and other relevant data sources.

9. Additional information
The contracting authority foresees a delivery period of two-months from the date of signature of the Contract. The contractor wishing to participate in the process should be able to deliver and install the offered equipment within that period.
10. Legal basis
Annex IV to the Partnership Agreement between the members of the African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States of the one part, and the European Community and its Member States, of the other part, signed in Cotonou on 23 June 2000 as amended in Luxembourg on 25 June 2005 and in Ouagadougou on 22 June 2010. Reference is made to Annex IV as revised by Decision 1/2014 of the ACP-EU Council of Ministers of 20 June 2014.
Remarks: There must be a minimum period of 30 calendar days between the publication of this prior information notice and the publication of the corresponding contract notice. No applications or requests for further information should be sent at this stage.
